LAS VEGAS, July 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Players have been winning millions playing Aristocrat’s Millioni$er(R) penny slot, and now a lucky Las Vegas local has joined the millionaires’ club by hitting the jackpot at Rampart casino in Las Vegas.
The lucky 66-year-old retired Las Vegan had played just $80 when she won $1.4 million! The woman, who said she frequently plays Millioni$er when she is at Rampart, was overwhelmed with emotion and started to cry when she realized she had hit the million dollar jackpot.
She said she plans to pay some bills, buy her sister a present and then buy herself a house with the $1.4 million.
“It’s incredible that Millioni$er hit on our floor, and we are especially excited one of our loyal locals won over $1 million on Millioni$er. Aristocrat’s Millioni$er has been on our floor for years, and we are thrilled that it could hit as a wide area progressive at the Rampart Casino,” said Rampart casino Slot Director Donovan York.
Millioni$er became a state-wide multi-site progressive in Nevada last year, and hit for more than $1.7 million in Las Vegas in February. The top jackpot will now re-start at $1 million, ready to make another lucky player’s dreams come true. Millioni$er is available at more than 56 casinos throughout Nevada.
Millioni$er is a Hyperlink(R) progressive and sports a patented second-screen feature with four different jackpot levels that can be triggered randomly during game play. The four tiered progressives give Millioni$er a higher hit frequency so players win jackpots more often.

Spotlight 29 Casino Funks It Up With the Neville Brothers on August 30

COACHELLA, Calif., July 24 /PRNewswire/ — From their humble beginnings in the Thirteenth Ward of Valance Street in New Orleans, the Neville Brothers — Art, Charles, Aaron and Cyril — have become the world-famous first family of funk. Now they are bringing their jazzed up funk style to Spotlight 29 casino in a concert not to be missed on August 30. The concert is the finale of the casino’s “Summer of Fun,” and the funkiest has been saved for last.
(Logo: )
The Neville Brothers invigorated the jazz and funk music scene with their landmark 1976 album Wild Tchoupitoulas. Their follow-up self-titled Neville Brothers (1977) album began to establish the band as a new leading force in music.
However, despite its success, label after label passed on signing the Neville Brothers for an additional album, that is, until Bette Midler heard them at Tipitina’s in New Orleans. She convinced A&M’s Jerry Moss to sign them, and the result was 1981’s Fiyo on the Bayou, which was followed in 1989 with Yellow Moon.
Decades of success have followed, allowing the Nevilles to expand their musical universe and also become more introspective and autobiographical. Charles has said, “The older we’ve gotten, the more adamant we are about forging our own production and focusing on songs that express our innermost beliefs.”
Tickets for the Neville Brothers are $50 and $40 and are available now at Spotlight29.com and at the Spotlight 29 casino Gift Shop or by calling (800) 585-3737. Show time is 8 p.m.
Put the spotlight on fun at Spotlight 29 Casino, the Coachella Valley’s most exciting place to play. Spotlight 29 casino is a business venture of the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians. Turn it on at .
